Accessories: He was carrying a green back pack with a leather bottom. He carried a rust colored nylon wallet manufactured by the Rainbow Co. His wallet may have contained a ticket from a Colorado Springs pawn shop. Clothing: Off white shirt and jeans Footwear: Maroon tennis shoes with gold stipes Jewelry: A distinctive silver colored medallion with a face on it. An African trade bead on a leather thong, he also wore this around his neck with the above medallion.

Circumstances of Disappearance

On July 21, 1980, 24 year old, Amadeo Vigil was reported missing by his mother. He was last seen by his mother on July 11th, 1980. He was later spotted hitchhiking on I-25 en route to Ft. Garland, Colorado, but has not been heard from since. Mr. Vigil was last seen wearing an off-white shirt, jeans, maroon tennis shoes with gold stripes, an African bead leather necklace, and a silver chain necklace with a happy face on it. A photo of the medallion is shown with a quarter for scale. He was carrying a green backpack with a leather bottom, a rust-colored nylon Rainbow Co. wallet, and possibly a ticket from a Colorado Springs pawn shop.
