9. Our Data Sources
This database, operated by My Loved One is Missing, is a comprehensive resource that centralizes publicly available case information from multiple channels. Data is aggregated from official databases such as NamUs and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s public missing persons list and Cold Case Database, and is supplemented with cases shared on social media by law enforcement. We also add cases shared by family members once law enforcement confirms the missing person’s case status via a police report or official confirmation. We regularly verify data accuracy with source databases and remove or update cases within 30 days of resolution, as confirmed by law enforcement or public sources. It contains cases of people who have been missing for over 30 days in Colorado.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
